Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
